Project Permitting Manager, Development

Nick supports environmental and land use permitting at RIC Energy, helping to secure local approvals and de-risk potential environmental concerns by coordinating with state and federal agencies. He brings expertise in SEQRA, environmental science, and wetland permitting. Prior to RIC Energy, Nick held a previous role as an environmental consultant, performing wetland and avian field surveys, as well permitting support for various development projects. Additionally, Nick DeJohn held a role as a permitting project manager in renewable energy development and was tasked with helping to secure environmental and land use permits for distributed generation and utility scale solar in several states along the east coast of the U.S. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
