José Luis Moya Jiménez is the CEO and founder of RIC Energy, the global renewable energy company he has led since its inception, following a solid career at PwC, Seagram, and Diageo. He entered the renewable energy sector in 2005 and, since 2010, has spearheaded RIC Energy’s international expansion through the development of photovoltaic projects in the United States, India, and Africa. In 2017, he strengthened the company’s presence in Spain by securing nearly 4 GW of capacity, positioning RIC among the country’s leading renewable energy developers. Today, the company has over 200 employees across four continents and a portfolio of over 15 GW, including technologies such as green hydrogen, storage, biogas, and wind. He also serves as a board member of Austral Venture Gestión and FertigHy, a European green fertilizer consortium. He holds a degree in Business Administration and executive education from IESE and IE Business School.
